When you buy properties in Nigeria, three very important issues to consider are location, title
(documentation) and possession. Amongst these three issues, your first priority is the title document on the property. In fact, before location, location, location; you must consider title, title, title.
 
Why? Because the title documents of a property are the only things you take home when you buy a property. Below is a description of the various documents you are entitled to when you purchase a property from us.
 
Registered Survey
This is a certificate of occupancy document given by the Lagos State government for land title registration. It is a proof that the rights over the property has been given to a person, organization or community. Our property has this and you will receive this when you buy the property. This is a duly registered copy of the actual drawing of the property from the Surveyor’s General office for the property once you have completed payment. It shows your ownership claim and actual size of the property. You will receive four (4) certified copies of it.
 
Contract of Sale
This is a legal document issued by our company to you binding both parties. It specifies the terms and conditions applicable with your purchase and payments for the property. You will receive it after your first installment or outright Payments
 
Deeds of Assignment
This is a document giving you total rights of the plot(s) of property you now own. You will receive this after excision is given on the property by the government.
 
Governors’ Consent
This is a certificate of occupancy document given by the Lagos State government for land title registration. It is a proof that the rights over the property has been given to a person, organization or community. This process starts with the release of the excision by the State Government. You have the option of engaging our company to process this for you or engage your personal lawyer or consultant.
